Boston..NY

We got into boston at about 2am yesterday morning and stayed with our friend Matt from Olivet. Sleeping in felt great after a very long day in New York and late driving. We toured Boston and some other things you can ask me yourself if you want to..

We sat in right center field last night at the Red Sox game, a great view and a great time..even though the BoSox lost. Boston was our favorite stop yet, the fans, the park and the surrounding area made the experience what it was!

The night before last I tried posting on our NY day but it didnt work so I'll sum it up..We got into NYC at about 2pm Wednesday afternoon and drove through the city and up to the Bronx. We were some of the first people in the gate for batting practice, Tyler finally got a ball.

We got heckled beyond belief but it was pretty fun(ny) after finding another handful of Tigers fans to mix it up with..We are in the car now and are a couple hours into our 9+ hour drive to Pittsburgh for our final game!

Philly

We started off the day by driving an hour and a half northeast to Philadelphia, got to our hotel (graciously provided from our friend Greg) and sought out for the best philly cheesesteak... We ended up at Pat's:

which has a famous rival directly across the street -

our sandwiches were all delicious some with provalone, mine with cheese whiz.. We walked from there a couple miles south to Citizens Bank park for our game of the night, Phillies vs Giants. Travis caught another ball, Tyler had one go through his hands and i will humbly say that I got mine off of a bounce!

The park and city was probably our favorite yet, with friendly fans, great food and an overall incredible time! Off to the Bronx in the morning!

Baltimore!

We got into Baltimore early this afternoon, wandered around until we went to Inner Harbor with Alli, our host for the night. We ate at J Pauls, a restaurant on the water and then headed over to Camden Yards..

We made our way down to the first few rows in left field for batting practice, and after many balls that slipped away, Travis finally snagged one. The game was back and forth and in the bottom of the 11th the Orioles laid down a perfect suicide squeeze with two outs for the win! We're looking forward to spending the day in Philly tomorrow, with cheesesteaks, historic places and more on our agenda..

DC

Today was my last day in the Washington DC area...I've had an incredible summer so far and am glad it will be ending the same way..Tyler, Travis, Brock and I got tickets to the Nationals/Diamondbacks game from Mr. Taylor, a great view and an even greater way to start out our MLB Pilgrimmage...

Stephen Strasburg started for the Nats an was out after a handful of innings, but it was great to see the ball coming in at 98mph the majority of the time! There were some protestors in front of the stadium before the game protesting the Arizona immigration laws. Four of them found their way onto the field to further cause a nuisance..but it was hilarious watching them getting taken down
